Not yet! I'm still working on the new enemy and the "other" arm...
Well... Sometimes, I got spare time at work... So i'm making artworks for the game... So far, I only made 2...

Left: Main Character
Right: Item seller
Btw... I have to admit that i'm not that good at drawing, so I used references for these... (Although... It's more like tracing... heheheh... And i'm not gonna read that manga again! Ugh...)

I saw some work of you Mike and I have to say they're all impressive...

Where did you learn to model like that?

This seems like a useful site... Thanks!

And I wasn't expecting high-detailed models, but I wouldn't be able to get that effect in years with a million polygons...
Maybe I don't have "the touch" ...

Oh, and one more thing, the main char and item seller are [hot].

Just kidding take your time if you want, the longer the better, I love seeing people get impatient, its amusing

Anyway, 3D total is a great site, I should go there more often than I do really.

O_o
So far, I only finished the first "other arm" and the flying enemy... Working on the 1st magic now... (Ice)

But, if anyone wants a demo without finalizing the BG, sword and effects, then I guess i'll release it already after finishing this ice magic...

Don't worry man I was joking, because other people were saying it, but a demo ready or unready is cool either way for me.

But before that, I would like to get some opinions about this...

Anyways I'm just going to say my opinion here because I'm not embarrassed. NO. I think pornographic content in games id demoralizing and looking it at pixelated breasts does not entertain me... real ones on the other hand. <_<

@Cian Rice: Aww... You're the second one who disagreed...
@Belseth: TY!

Heheh... I guess my idea is really bad. No one agreed at all! And I tried imagining her while fighting... Ugh... (I'll just keep my fantasies to myself...)
I'll start the remodeling then... And uploading the WIP game...

http://www.altiz-studio.com/Uploads/Tower.zip

Controls:
Mouse - Target
WASD - Move
Space - Jump
L Mouseclick - L Arm (Sword)
R Mouseclick - R Arm (Grip)
Hold Q + Mousemove - Rotate Camera
Hold E + L Mouseclick - Magic (Ice)
Ctrl - Pause

Other controls:
Enter/Return - Sync rate (30 / 0)
1 - Full white
2 - Full black
0 - Bloom
9 - Refraction
8 - Color Tone
H - Refill HP
M - Refill MP
T - Show/hide FPS
R - Darken BG

Notes:
- When the player fell down, she will go back to the starting point
- In the Black/White system (sort of unnoticable, the dot on the upper left side of the screen) When you face the sun/light direction, your sword attacks will be white, otherwise black. Everytime you white attack (even if it doesn't hit an enemy) your B/W meter goes up. And black attacks will make it go down. When the B/W meter reaches top, you will go into white mode for a limited time, same with the black.
-In white mode, you will be able to do aerial jumps anytime and will have white attacks in any direction.
-In black mode, your sword attacks will have a great range and will have black attacks in any direction.
-White attacks only hits black enemies, same with the black attacks.
-Flying enemies have white stats.
-Sword bodied enemies have black stats.
- When the background darkened, you better go to any blocks. You'll see what I mean...

There are many bugs found in the game especially collision issues. So far, these are my findings:
-Enemies loses collisions sometimes.
-In black mode, sometimes your sword attacks doesn't hit.
-If you're video card doesn't support refraction (Pixel Shader 2.0) When you paused the game and turn on/off the refraction, the game crashes.

Big note:
LOWER VIDEO CARDS ARE SLOW IN THIS GAME
Geforce 2 gives me 18 FPS without bloom, refraction and tone.

(GASP) Finally i'm done explaining! Please let me know if you find any other bugs in this game. And also giving your FPS will be nice for me.

Let me be the first to say that your demo is absolutely gorgeous. =)

I get about 45 fps on a mobile x1400 without bloom, refraction or tone.

I'll try it when I get home...

Xenocythe, you might be wrong, mine was a no, like Anime's/Cian's, pretty much for the same reasons, but what I put or was going to put may have offended some here, I don't know, so I emailed my opinion.

I'd say if you wanted to do that sort of anime, try the poser forums/renderosity, they're always looking at that sort thing Here there isn't much of that audience

That video looks good. I don't have time right now to try the demo. The video reminds me of Kingdom Hearts. I loved that style of game play, so yours will be great. Can't wait to try it later today.

Based on the fact that character you have already looks incredible and that I think it is more important to work on other aspects of the game I'd say leave it as it is.

But seriously, if this was an actual commercial game it is something I would consider paying for, its really fun and looks great. Seriously well done.

Lovely animations and effects.

My specs:

AMD 1.6, FX5200 128mb into a 4x slot, 512mb ram

With bllom, tone and refraction:
12-14fps

With tone and refraction, no bloom:
23-25fps

With all off:
35-38 fps.

You certainly got the eye candy nailed. Very Nice.

Played the demo. Ran great on my machine, about 40-55 FPS (without bloom or color tone, even though I love the color effect, bloom on this card just makes the screen pure white) constant and this computer is a piece of crap. It did slow down to about 12 FPS, though, when enemies died, due to smoke effects. Love the controls, though. Very intuitive. One suggestion I have is locking the mouse on screen when you do mouselook, I found it very easy to move my mouse off the window when trying to look around (though I love the system)

edit: haha just noticed the er..uh.."physics." Also, I can't tell exactly what's going on with her texture when she runs, it animates too fast.

@The Full Metal Coder Roxas: Ok... But, er, how?
@TEH_CODERER: I just thought she looked naked with tatoos... So in the remodel, she will have more modeled clothes... And a hairstyle where it doesn't have to wave/move much...
@QuothTheRaven: lol it took me a whole day to perfect the "physics"... Ok, i'll do the mouse locking...
@Xenocythe: lol!

Btw, you can rotate the camera even when paused. Just to get the matrix effect... heheh...

Hmm.. You could put it so that it rotates the camera automatically you dont need press the button Or put it so if you are in battle it locks the camera in targeted monster..

And the magic cast buttons could be in better place :/
