Very nice Megaton(and everyone else ). But yeah, the texture on the roof of the barn doesn't seem to tile correctly.

I really like that terrain screenshot. It reminds me of UT2004, with elephants. It has a lot of interesting components that make you guess the nature of the scene. Elephants and grass makes it look like a jungle somewhere, but humans must be nearby to have built the watchtower. The sky and sunflare gives it a sci-fi feel, as though this might be on an alien world.

I really want to see the terrains saved soon, since I am creating some sick terrains. When will be the final release date of 3dws?

Faked an area light with 7 regular lights spaced slightly. Still needs more lights to fix the banding issues.

It's suffering from a bug where the ambientlight is too dark facing away from the light.

3dws but nothing stops you from doing that in Cshop. It's only a few brushes.

I think the sci-fi stuff has been taken care of pretty well. I started this program with a vision of UT2004-esque level design, and I have reached that. I want to pursue some more realistic settings in the future, especially industrial east bloc stuff.

If I start making a little more money, I am going to hire an (outsourced) full-time artist who can crank this stuff out night and day.

Would it be possible to show us some screenshots of plants and trees from the media that's going to be on the cd?

Thanks,
