i was wondering how many more weapons you are going to make? you have already got enough to win 5 world wars. Or do you want to make more european and eastern weapons?

I think Errant said he has finished all the weapons that he wants for this pack, and he is just tweaking the existing ones to make them perfect. He also said he might make a european pack, but this pack has an Mp5 which is German.

I think he had the plan to create European orientated weapons in the future. I think its safe to say he has finished the weapons and is tweaking bits and bobs. Just relax, and be patient He doesnt ignore his already very popular thread to create suspense

H&K is the most famous gun factory in the world. Everyone (cops, terrorists, armies) wants H&K's guns.

But I'm betting marbles that Germany's H&K factory mainly gives their guns to Germany and surrounding, nearby countries.

This is Mad-Man. Copy Mad-Man into your sig so he can rule the FPSC boards. How to do it? }+:+)+the message after the smiley=domination!

first off, I'm in awe at the level of detail of these weapons, they're simply awesome.

If you're open for suggestions I have a few.

an AK-47 with a folding wire stock and a drum clip
Browning Hi-Power 9mm
FAMAS SV1
Sig Sauer P228
Ruger Mini-14/Mini Thirty
a sawed off Remington 870 express

Sorry for lack of visiting this thread. I got a little burned out on making VWEAPS and experimenting with sound fx, so I took a little break to play a really old version of Command and Conquer (Tiberian Sun) and hook up some unrelated freelance work.

Quote: "I'm saying you should stop making and release so i can get my hands on it"

That's the plan. No new weapons are being added for this run. I'm just closing loose ends at this point. I have about three or four more VWEAPs to make and a few ammo entities and that will be it except for audio (which is no small thing).

Quote: "Will these weapons be Torque-ready, animated, and sounds put in?"

I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. But yes, it is in the long-term plan.

As for the HK stuff... There are a few Euro-origin weapons in this pack but they are ones that are fairly common in the states. This collection is U.S. centric, not U.S. exclusive

Again, sorry for the lack of updates. I'll try to compose some pics showing the new VWEAPs this coming weekend.

I've got one little question. How did you model the weapons? Have you edited primitives or edited extruded splines??? I tried the second one because I've found a tutorial for making weapons using splines.
Which is IYO better, easier etc???

Make games, not war.

I'd love to use those weapons in the source engine, that'd be sweet.

I love your revolvers, espescially the ones with bullet-by-bullet reload. You're being swarmed by zombies and you're trying to reload in time before they maul your face.

The sad fact is that i can read script, but i just cant write it.

Errant AI, I just noticed this thread now, and I have 2 questions:
1.) Do we have to pay for this? and 2.) If we did,, how much would it cost?

Now look at the pictures of the guns and go watch the videos and then ask yourself that question again.
Of course he is going to charge for this. He's a pro.
I don't know how much it is going to cost.

Hold your horses, this stuff is worth waiting for. Then again alot of you people don't seem to deserve it in the first place (especially for the low price he's considering) but I won't go into that

I'd have no idea how to make gunshot sounds for ingame guns, apart from (me being the incredibly creative person that i am) actually recording real shots...but theres all sorts of issues that i don't want to go near with that idea.

The sad fact is that i can read script, but i just cant write it.

If they pick this up as a model pack then they will probably make some customs sounds for him or give him the software to do it.

Just popping in to post the latest VWEAP pics...

Tying up loose ends... Thanks for the new comments and patience. It's almost time for me to ask the Mods to lock this thread up as I get ready to cross the fence from the WIP side to the available side. However, I want to keep things open until I'm ready to post a new thread and so y'all don't start calling this Riker10 or something. Again, I greatly appreciate everyones support and patience.

Dierider, Opposing Force, Luciferia and Smitho... I used a program called "Adobe Audition" to create the sounds for FPSC v1, Model Pack 6 and some sounds and timing modifications for Model Pack 5.

SoundForge is also very good but I prefer the Adobe product as I've been using it for audio production for many years. It used to be called "Cool Edit".
