It might if Lee decides to release the source for it and S4 feels compelled to put it in. If it does work in the migration, then there will likely be no migration features in it.

@S4: Thanks for the speedy response time, I now have it and it's working great!

There is a very high chance that all Mods will be ported to newer sources later on, and yes... If you purchase this, all future updates will be free. I am unsure about future versions, however... such as any potential V2 of the Mod (New versions rarely happen, btw)

Also, I would like to extend a special $5 discount to anyone who has purchased Ply's Mod already. This is also a non-expiring discount, so no need to hurry (though I don't know why you wouldn't for an awesome Mod like this )
I have the list of everyone who has purchased Ply's Mod, so if you're one of them and want to buy this Mod as well, just email me about it and I'll inform S4 that you're valid for a discount

I blieve it's V107 to V109. I use V109 as then you still get the GCS.

I also enjoy the V109 editor since it puts ceilings on your segments for you, too, saving you a bit of time and worry

Yeah, but I wish they were the actual ceiling segments, rather than the floors.

If it gets ported to migration if that source gets released after it comes out, then yes. Otherwise, not unless S4 adds it in manually

Which he won't, because ragdoll in X9 at the moment is very impractical.

No. If you read up on what each mod does, you would get a pretty good idea of what this is and is not capable of.

The migration will be out next year at the soonest... and if it's not, I suggest that you assume it will be. There's nothing worse than waiting for something when you're unsure of it's ETA.
Save yourself the heartache and don't vouch on the migration coming any time soon.

FPSC X10 may be graphically better than FPSC X9, but everything that this Mod offers absolutely blows X10 out of the fresnel water in terms of shear gameplay potential.

hmmm, if its not to much of a hassal, can you give me a list of A the graphical stuff in this (bloom shading etc.) B the death sequence posibilities (in lue of ragdoll) C the top things about it.
if its not too much of a hassle, if it is i understand but uch this is such a hard descision, if only you guys could get this in the migration

This is not true.

Even if DarkAI is used, you just see a bunch of commands... but the DLL File wouldn't be in the archive, sou you wouldn't be able to use the Product.

It's the same Story with DarkLights in the current, downloadable Source Code.

Yes its still the same old dbpro but the structure will be different so copy paste is not an option like it was now.

I doubt it will be THAT different. Most core features have to be the same for compatibility if nothing else.

Excellent. Upgrade this mod to the latest v1.15 source and it'll sell like hot cakes.

Hope it won't be too hard for you to update.

Edit - Quick question. Why hasn't these mods got anti aliasing or antistropic filtering? Are those options not available in DBPro.

@djmaster:

I still don't see the reasoning people have behind adding these features. The migration version of those things is obviously going to be more desirable than what we could concoct, so why waste our time on something that'll be replaced when we can spend time on putting something else in that may actually be of continued use beyond the migration?

@Nomad Soul:

If AA and AF were so easily implemented, don't you think Lee would have put them in by now?

You can use your graphics card to handle those on a hardware level.

I would like to thank S4 for the awesome job he's doing, and would like to confirm that, once this is released for the 1.15, i'll be buying it.

ps.: Will the mod source be available to customers of the 1.15 version?

Who says that by the time the migration version comes out that a modded V1.15 wouldn't be on par if not better? Look at all the stuff done with V1.07 source, lots more stuff was added that Lee originally had.

Either way, this is an excellent mod, and I'll probably purchase it sooner or later. I don't see why people want the graphical additions so badly...I mean, yes - they look cool, but it really isn't a necessity.

I think it's just the teenagers looking to make their games appear to be better by adding bloom and motion blur.

Again, thanks for all the modders on their hard work, this is truly great news.

Wow, this is a most impressive mod, definitely worth buying...It makes me wince because it's yet another reason to use X9 (instead of X10) . Especially when combined with CoZ's shaders...

A picture says a thousand words.

@Nickydude:

You make a valid point, but I still don't see why modders would choose to spend time on an addition that Lee already has planned over an addition that Lee hasn't planned but would be just as beneficial to the system.

I bet its gonna take a while to migrate this itself into the newly available 1.15 source. But on the bright side, you will have a much larger community willing to buy. Nice mod by the way.

This "united" mod really needs a new name. The Gameplay Mod or Unite Mod or something straightforward. Then someone else could focus on doing a graphics mod

Graphics are nice but gameplay vaulues much higher for me and this mod seems to do something about the latter.
