Ok, sorry for the double post, this mainly directed at mazz. Im having some trouble decimating the mesh, simply because its so huge(i added another sub-d layer as the cracks were slightly low res) and zbrush has been froze for 20 minutes, do you think that if all else fails, you could decimate it for me, i really need to get more ram. Only thing is, the file is 300mb

if your having trouble then i'd be more than happy to help, just email me a zip or rar file with your model in it, i'll decimate multiple times and post some screens here so that you can tell me wish you would like me to send you, or if you want them all

Another random sculpt. If anyone would like a video of me detailing it, let me know, it came out rather bad, but it still shows you how i detailed it.

Looking good mate, my only crit with the image with the tree on the right, the leaves have some random black pixels. Other than that, your work is amazing!

All you did was scribble on the side...

-=EDIT=-

Are you using the Arm for your project?

I could really use it in my project...

It fits in nicely to the sort of look I'm going for. Is it pretty high-poly?

Drop me an email or chat on MSN some time, i can work something out, the high poly is naturally high poly, but i will bake it down for game use too.

Ok well here is an old model, requested by a few people, so here it is for free. I will compile almost all of my models into free-SDK only use, meaning its free for you to modify, but no distributing for game use, or whatever. I have included, and will include for future releases, all of the materials that i used in creating the asset, such as:

Low poly, High Poly, Scene, Bake set up and ready
AO Map
Diffuse Map
Specular Map
Normal Mapx2
PSD Of texture, for modification.

Just a final iteration, these are for personal use only, and please feel free to post your versions up, id love to see how other people do it!

How can I get that .max model into a usable format without 3DS Max?

Everyone of my modelling programs doesn't have a Max import...

Its based around a wall support concept on autodestruct, i think some electronic cables could work, maybe some light fixtures too?

The seam is actually just where the mesh has been copied, was looking at flooring.

Hey man, Liking the stuff so far. Loooong time no talk.

The mechanical arm thing looks okay, just the back area is pretty plain and I see you just put some cylinders to fill space. I'd be good to see a Low poly of that because I'd really want to see it textured. Yeah I know just HP practice.

The eh floor looks okay, definitely needs a sharpen. Honestly I would have just baked this all onto a plane with the same results plus you would be able to make yourself a highlight map for the spec.

There seems to be some harsh lines that don't look right

I'll have to agree with Mazz on this one, looks like a G36C. One of my favorite guns ever.

Quote: "please crits the socks off it."

I would if I could find anything wrong.

I mean, if you are going to bake this into a normal map, you could add scratches and stuff, more detail, etc. but with what you have it's perfect.

Give me a break man, aint modelled a gun in ages, it draws me back! And if i made someone a staple gun instead og a rifle, i may get a rather bad responce, no?
