Lovely Chinook. I've spent many hours in that rocking horse, but bad as they were, they were better then walking.

I'm also adding my "Missle Silo kit" to this pack as well. It includes the silo wall entities, animated silo doors scripted by xplosys, launch control room, and a Titan missle.

I've been having issues with ver. 1.18.3 and up ( notably the invisible segment issue, as well as editor lag). Now that Lee has released the 1.18.13 perhaps it will work better on my machine now, I have yet to try it.

OK, Sorry. I'll put it into low gear here on my end for a while my friends, and let you guys get your submissions in, before I do anything new. I need to do the shader maps for the "Missle Silo Kit" anyway, as it is an older set of models I did a while back, and needs updating.

Here's a short list of stuff that we could still use here:

More planes
V2 rocket
morter
land mines
bunkers
tents, and cots
mess kit
ammo boxes
misc. field gear (shovels, bed rolls, barrels, gas cans, etc.)
destroyed buildings, and scenery
Jungle huts

Ok then, I'll leave you guys to it, Thanks.

Well I just didn't want to say anything at first but... I remembered that I had this jeep wondering around my blender files and would like to know if you would want it for the pack. If so, I will finish the work and even copy the tire and gas can as separate entities.

Trust me, if there is a will there is a way
Im sure even the smallest contribution would be happily accepted by CP... try opening up blender and creating a nice crate for us! A military style crate deifnitely fits the theme

Just wanted to remind people to never sya that they cant do something... you'll never know till you try

Cheers,
Anayar

P.S: That Chinook looks AMAZING! Keep up the great work man!

Starmind: "Oh yeah"!!! That V2 is sweet, and You made the carrier too!

Gladius: You can .zip or .rar the files and if it's not too big, you can send it to my e-mail. If it is, upload it to mediafire or similar site, and e-mail the link.

I'm going to move on to the press room stuff. Podiums, flags, projectors, maps, cameras, mic booms, press vans maybe that you would expect to see at a military command centre.

Because it will take me a little while to get the Jeep in order (still plenty of work left on it), I went ahead and made the gas can and tire separate entities. I will have 2 textures for each. The Gas Can will have Camo and Military Green (still a bit of a work in progress) coats. the Tire will have a tan color and Military Green coats.

Does anyone have a low-poly, coiled spring already made, that I can use? If not, I can make one. I'm trying to save myself some time is all.

Glad you like it. At this point the model is at 3200 polys. The carrier and the v2 are seperate. If I remember right Conjured has a raycast script around here to make it a fully functional v2.

My plan is to make three more v2's at various stage of build for an assembly line. And if I am up to it I was thinking about making the building that it was made in. I kinda pulled out medal of honor last night and played the whole thing just for a good reference for gameplay on the v2.

Edit: I just realized how big the v2 really is. One tail fin is twice the size of a human. Here is the pic I used to make it.

I'm fixing the rigs on an exclusive hand set,so hopefully if FPSC doesn't mess the rigs again , I can contribute to this project.

Try Milkshape. Free on a 30 day trial and good to invest in if you're interested in modelling.

Mortar.

It's pretty lazily textured. If someone wants to do a better texture than that they're more than welcome.

Myth Studios: LOL, "MilkShape"...."Milkshape".

I also use "Hexagon" from Daz if I need a more complex mesh. Then import it back into Milkshape, and I use Ultimate Unwrap 3D to do my UV maps, as well as Photoshop for textures.

It's between five and eight and it isn't seven.

Just in addition to the mortar, there's an axe and a projector (or beamer - whichever you prefer). I'm going to make a screen onto which can be projected maps and satellite imagery or whatever. Might make it dynamic so the game can cycle through images that are backlit.

Or, I might just model it and let someone else do that because I have no idea how that's going to work.

So a mortar, an axe and a projector. All a man needs to survive in the desert obviously.

Nice Models, but why are all the screenshots so blurry? Is it FPSC, the textures, or are they just blurry renders?

It's just the FPSC Depth of Field shader that blurs everything a bit zealously. I've switched it to the bloom shader for future screenshots. Things look a bit clearer now.

That's everything (well... everything I can fit into one screenshot - minus the projector, the lectern and the U2 spy plane).

Try this: http://www.uvmapper.com/

I use the classic version, being old fashioned. But the newer version gives you the ability to do a lot of useful stuff. There's a few tutorials kicking around.
