I think part of the problem is that I have the DoF shader on FPSC. It looks slightly better outside of FPSC.

Finally, a Limestone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brimstone_(missile) missile:

New stuff is looking great guys!

Here's a shot of a Bradley tank I've started, but now that I've got the treads done, I think I'm going to scrap them for a lower poly band, so I can add more detail to the upper part of the tank.

The MiG is 1024x761. The U2 is 3100x1175 and the Brimstones are 1024x185.

For the sandbags you want some straight, corner and intersections so one can make fortifications.
Barbwire rolls and the like are also in short supply everywhere.

An oil tank you might see on a military base, complete with the amusing company name and slogan. (I'm quite impressed with myself on that one.)

That way everything can get installed together.

TGPEG: You can grab it from my "what do you need" thread. It's posted there. There isn't any room on the original texture, but you could always make it an add-on.

Absolutly! Textures will be added in the infamous "Extra Goodies" folder. ( Along with special scripts, audio, HUDs, ect.)

Ok I have a home project recording studio and have decided to do some military style "one liners" such as:

"Cover me I'm reloading", "Tangos on the move"

I figure put these into the reload sounds and spot player sound etc. Quick question: do I have time to wait till this weekend or do you need the files sooner? I wasn't sure when you where going to release the pack.

If I can get out to the range this weekend, I'll record my Cx4 Storm (9mm) and some clip reloading sounds and toss them in. I'd also like to make the gun a weapon but I'm not goo at rigging if someone wanted to help out with that...I could model and texture it using my own gun as the model and ref images.

Thanks Nickydude, Got 'em!

raymondlee306: No worries, This will run for a few weeks while everyone gets all they're stuff created, and submitted.

These community packs tend to be huge. so you have plenty of time to get whatever you have planned done. ( which sounds great by the way).

As far as the weapon goes, I see our resident Gun rigging master "Bootlicker" has been dropping by, maybe he'll have a go at it for you, if he has the time.

Abandoned Industrial Building (Distance Only):

This is a segment for the sole purpose of adding detail to far away areas. It helps turn your cliff-surrounded war zone into a believable battle by the old industrial district. Try not to put it near the player as it's effect will soon be lost.

@VENT

You should make a few planes like that to sell, because honestly that is the best plane model I've ever seen in fpsc.

I said I'd put an awning on the back of the truck, so here it is (all on one GIANT texture map - probably too big in all honesty). I'm still working on it.

I'd be more than happy to.

What I'm going to do with all my stuff is upload it to my server and send you the link to it to download. It's probably going to be a bit more than the 10MB limit even after rar'ing it all up so that would be easier. And faster.

Well this ruined my modelling plans (for this pack anyways ):
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=183774&b=2

I dont want to risk losing ANYTHING on that PC since it is my main FPSC and work computer so Ive called Geek Squad in to asses damages

Anyways, since id still love ot contribute I am open for ANY and ALL texture work you guys might need. I would love to get my hands on and retexture some of the aforementioned models (Hint *VENT* the plane models ). I will also make some segments if I can...

But remember, if anyone has some models that they need textured or would like a retexture please feel FREE to send the model and UV Map to me. I will send the new texture and file back to you and will also post a screeny of the model here.

Hoping to find some models or textures in my Inbox

Cheers,
Anayar

My final vehicle as well - the Boeing CH-47 Chinook, used by the US Army and the Royal Air Force (with no livery on this time).

I was considering animating it with an interior but for the number of polys and the fact that you couldn't enter it in FPSC anyway, it was pointless.
