I did a control tower to complete the airport set, and it all worked fine up until when I tested it in the game. There's nothing wrong with any of the texture maps or the UVs on the model. Does anyone know why it's doing this?

TGPEG: It looks like some of the faces are inverted, and the backfaces are facing outward. Send it to me and I'll fix it up for you if you like.

Wow, this looks excellent!
BTW, I found out that the shader for the stock weapons uses the '_R' texture for spec maps.

pahahah, its not a problem, as all the extra maps that you give me arent used anyways as they would appear on the hands so only the _D maps are used that are sent, all the others are generic maps that just contain scratches etc. 1 sec, ill get a screen.

aha, your normally quite good with stuff like this. but could you make the slide, hammer, mag etc as the deagle has nothing! :L the only moving part is the hammer, and the mag which is a quick retexture of the stock mag!

For bumpcuberelectalpha.fx the _R texture controlled what parts were and were not reflective to the cube map

I was in Blender, testing a few ideas that floated in my mind about texturing objects, and I decided to make a China Lake (Grenade Launcher). I would gladly rig it up to stock hands and animate it if you want it in the pack.

yes, please do. when your done, could you send it to me and ill give it all the same features as the other guns then send it back to you?

EDIT: anyone know how to solve the problem when no ammo numeric appears and the gun has unlimited ammo? :S

That normally happens when you have the reload quantity set to 0 in the properties or gunspec.

tried that. xD although, then when I sent it to Abdul Ahad to check out he said it was fine. We think its a problem with the version I'm using (v1.16) XD

It produces no texture at all normally. I don't remember the base of the tower being made of more than one stack. Obviously was though.

It must have been registering some surface anyway, because the normals were still being shown on it. At least it works now.
