hey all.

I cannot rig to the scifi assault rifle. This is because the animations and hand positions are just pretty weird, if I ge the hands to hold the gun the mag will just float around and if I get it aligned with the mag, the gun floats. :S

So, I would appreciate it if anyone who is awesome with gunspecs could help figure out the commando ironsights, I've attached the SCAR gunspec which I managed to set up for just a simple zoom. If anyone can convert this to ironsights you would be a HUGE help.

So again, I'm sorry but I cannot rig to the scifi assault rifle.

Poloflece Games: There seems to be a problem with the files for the ruins. When I try to open the folder it crashes Windows Explorer.

Can you send the the files again please, it may have gotten corupted through the mail server. Thanks!

Cosmic: Which shader did you use for those? I've been struggling to find one that works with dynamic and animated objects?

And also, did you manage to download the file off my server? I need to delete it if you have.

yeah, got it! Thanks! You have some more stuff coming right? The gate, Axe, etc.

That is the standard bumpbone shader. I use it a lot on animated entities.

yeah, all weapons that I rigged are to stock animations and hands. I made the retexture so I can give out that texture and not have to give instructions on putting the hand texture in for new members, as I changed the file name etc.

If anyone feels like they are twiddling their thumbs, we are lacking a pistol so far in this pack

hurmm, im not too sure what I'd be able to do with a double barrel shotgun. :\ any ideas on what animations that would fit on?

Use that "Vickers gun" ... it is out of the screen for reloading.

Send the files then to me. I'll handle the reloadsound and all that crap.

Aks retextured now taking Cosmics advice. I'll add a last gun (Glock22) to the pack later. By request from Ben

I had to remove this little scoperail from the UMP
I will take another look at the textures and send the files to Ben so he can rig em.

These will come with custom sounds and editted gunspec

I have a glock all done for this pack... first weapon in a while so go easy
Ill get a screeny of it up later today... no more complaining about not havin a pistol

I also have an uzi model i made a while back (my first weapon model lol) ill see if i can find it if youd like...
also, the swat and terrorist models are done... just waitin on CPs tut as i fail at rigging

I am finishing up the texture, because i do not know cosmics naming structure for the folders, is it ok that i leave they at default and then i guess cosmic if you could, change them so they all work with everything else in terms of naming.

Just to remind everyone making guns that to save polys they can delete all the vertexes from the side of the gun the player doesn't see. You have to be quite careful the holes don't appear during the spinning motion or when reloading/ADS'ing, though.

@VENT sorry, bud. I've only rigged 4 of your guns:

-SPAS12
-AUG (2texture variations)
-M14
-PPSH-41

Although, I cannot rig the lever action, as well theres no animations xD :L I cannot rig the RPG either as the law animations are soo retarded to fit on the RPG, wouldnt see how it would reload either. And the final let down, I'm not happy releasing the PPSH as the rig sucks and there is waaaay too many problems with it. which is my fault not yours, the model is great.

So the only weapons of yours that will be released are the SPAS, M14 and AUG.

Hey Guys!

Thought I would drop in with a nice new addition here.
This is some of my older/first work, and a few of you lucky ones might already have some of these segments.
I took them down for personal reasons, but I thought I may aswell offer them here to this pack.

all of these segments are shader ready for Bond1's normal mapping shader. I suggest they be used with that for best affect
They are all ready, and dont need any maps made, or .fps files changed. Just whip em in and go.

@Cosmic Ill get these to you some time tomorow. I still have to mess around with the folder structure a little, and write up a readme, then zip it all.

Without further ado, Ill give you all some screenshots of what you can expect from my addition.



I know it doesn't really fit a War theme, but, I figured I had to give something to contribute, why not this?
Just a simple top and bottom wall segment, with variations in color (red, green, yellow, and blue) and with a Room, Flor, Corner, Slope, and Diagonal piece included for more complex constructions.

OMG Cosmic, that Patriot launcher is awesome looking. I really really REALLY want this pack. Great work, everyone! Can't wait to put these to use.

Waiting for this pack is like being 6 and waiting for Christmas to come. Any eta on a release date for it? (My apologies if it's already been mentioned, my ADD kicks in whenever there are cool pictures on the screen)

No date set at the moment, I'm still waiting for some of the contributions to come in, and I've got a few more models planned for this as well.

So all I can say is; be patient, it will be worth the wait, Cosmic Santa wont let you down.
