That is amazing. All of the game projects like Equestria Online, Fighting is Magic, CMC: A Dash of Adventure, Fiends from Dream Valley (I think that was the name?) are amazing. Artists, writers, musicians, game creators, ... - this community has 'em all.

Btw work on Sweetie Belle is progressing slowly. Need to tweak some of the 'round' lines (for example the tail)... Oh and her foot is derped, as it will be hidden anyways

You can have some of my creativity, I'm drawing ponies all the time when I should be learning or something.


This is so great and powerful... It somehow ended up as my alarm and had me awake in ten seconds flat.

Also here's the final lineart for Sweetie Belle. Something about it ( I think her face?) always reminds me of trixie But the pose could be something from filly twilight, even though I didn't use any reference.

Heh, so we have you, TheComet, CoffeeGrunt, Cormorant5 and me (anybody else?) who know atleast a little bit german, right? I hereby declare german to be our new official language for all things pony.

Oh and I just received an email from an anthropological study about bronies for an interview via google chat xD I had taken their survey and apparently they're going to interview everyone who left them their email... But it'll just be for the study I think, but it's still kinda cool. I'll be deciding about the public reception of this fandom FOREVER. I win.

Edit: I had already been wondering if the music in the PonyKart trailer was makkon's work, and it is. Especially towards the end the melody reminds me of his "bell crystal.wmv" song.

So far so good... And Sweetie Belle is resized in this one, so here, have some original size artworkz. I think she looks cool Especially in contrast to that derped griffon.

Only thin I'd say is that Gilda's eye positioning looks a little strange. Other than that, proportions, colouring and shading are all awesome!

I know! She looks like a cyclops or something It was even worse before... she's supposed to be facing away from the viewer, so the eye is only slightly visible on the side of her head... that totally did not work out as I wanted it.

Thanks But what is this shading you're talking about? Gildas colors were 'thrown' at her in 10 minutes before I sent this off to EqD, and I don't know how to shade robots I don't want to ruin stuff... I'd like to add some kind of magic sparkle glow thingy to Sweetie's horn, and kind of use it as a light source, but I doubt I'd be able to do that properly.

Uh, nah... reading Cupcakes was quite enough, thank you. And I'm afraid I won't like that song anymore afterwards.

Also, I thought the new episode was hilarious, there were so many background ponies in this I learned that you shouldn't be eating while watching ponies, that does not work too well. I don't know how 'good' I'd say this episode was, I liked it very much. Will watch it for a second time once Xyro finished rendering the HD version for youtube.


Took a photo of all my pony sketches yesterday
Top left = ATG Day 3 entry
Bottom left = sketches for Scootaloo's comic
Top right = Scootaloo with wings sketch and Twilight next to it (and random ugly stuff around them; I also had thought about 'signing' things with 'RF' and tried various ways of writing that...)
Center right-most = first random pony sketch I used in GIMP (you know which one that is)
Bottom right = the stuff I 'copied' from that one episode
Bottom center = A random sketch based on this which I had edited using the clone tool in GIMP to make it widescreen and use as a background... decided to randomly sketch Derpy with a ballpen. Her head didn't fit onto the page so she just derped through the 4th wall there This was before I had even thought about doing some serious artworkz )

I didnt like the concept of the new episode, and i thought it was awesome once the "evil ponies" came along and started singing, but an booring concept is an booring concept...

once AJs friends came along to help, it became a lot better.

Aren't both of these from Renard? I know that thing kinda was a meme even before ponies, like this one too

Edit, also this is the best part from the new ep:

She did that 3 times! Lyra, you so random. (And by that I mean 3 different scenes in the episode.)

Final version of the comic is done, or something like that. I'm not too happy about most parts of it, I think it could be better. Oh and for the 4th Scootaloo i copied most parts of the head from the 3rd one and edited it some. As I like the 3rd one most I did blur the 4th one, kind of like the viewer/camera/whatever focuses on the smaller one in the background; or maybe the one in the foreground is just a representation of Scootaloos feelings and doesn't really exist... now I'm making up stuff. *shrugs*

(Oh and please tell me that my laziness which resulted in copying things totally ruins everything. But even if you do I probably won't fix it)

Hey guys, the new "Humble Bundle for Android" (and Mac, Linux and Windows) launched over at http://www.humblebundle.com/ and the respective Humble Brony Bundle too.
I decided to buy the bundle for myself for 10$ and donated another 10$ to the Humble Brony Bundle
Oh and you'll be able to use the games on any of those platforms; I don't even have an Android device I'm currently downloading them through Steam.

And I'm working on another Scootaloo + wings themed artwork. Had the idea while doing the 'Fragile' comic. The idea might be somewhat inspired by this, which was in that video for 'Blank' [which inspired 'Fragile'] too. But it's a little different from that, really. (Not only different in regards of levls of awesome. That image there was painted in "30 minutes or so". I still think that person must be a wizard.)
I'm doing the lineart in SAI this time, similar to Sweetie Belle.
Anyways no WIP screenies this time, you'll have to wait.

This episode was the best one ever, hands down
That 'Daring Doo' story was awesome, the RD scenes in the hospital were awesome (dat 'omnomnom' sound ) and then we had NINJA RAINBOW DASH THIEF THINGY. Also, barking pony.

Oh and Last Roundup is on Hub frontpage again or something? Like, Derpy? I still don't get what's going on with the whole Derpy incident.

@RF boy, that's the best scoot yet! I wish I was better at visual art, well, I guess I've never really tried in your sense. I don't know that I could even make that backdrop What's your normal process?

I really wish I had your time though... I'm still only halfway through the granny smith episode the guilt sets in.

As I said before, I never did something like this before either. Still getting used to SAI, so my 'process' might still be improving. For the background I just blended from a light blue color to a yellowish one using the 'Watercolor brush' and added some clouds... though the clouds could use a darker shade on the unlit side
The backdrop was done pretty fast... for the rest I started with the white wings, just added onto them with different white brush settings. For Scootaloo I just added some layers with her base colors in there; locked the transparency (so it only 'paints' without changing the alpha-values, so it won't draw across the borders That feature is very useful) and then added darker and brighter shades, keeping in mind my "light source" in the bottom right corner. ...Yeah that's all I did for 'painting', was done after a couple hours.

But.. but.. I'm following 10 webcomics already... I just looked at the MSPA website again, i only had briefly looked at the archive-page before and thought 'God this is pretty long already!' But from the description of it there are 4 different stories? Are the first 2 any good? The description says they're experimental unfinished thingies, and he recommends reading 'Problem Sleuth' and 'Homestuck'... Maybe I'll read it soon.
