my fpsc engine crashed aswell! i cant change or keep any Titlepage.fpi settings all thw way down to Gameover.fpi.

So when i built my game, FPSC only built the ingame data, and not the other stuff, so when you see my mucked up hud, that was me scripting it by hand, because when i opened up my gamebank, all i saw in the FPI folder was:

loadingpage1
loadingpage2
loadingpage3

Well, all is settled, DarkFact, did you get to my 3rd level yet?

EDIT: Moderators, can you change my forum name to CodeRack: Alteration?

Im a new user, im young and FPI-dyslexic, i simply dont have the foggiest and cant learn FPI, so copy and paste code snippets please!

Hi, are you going to do a contest again soon with a prize of FPSC X10? I didnt want to do it in november because of the competion was big but now I learned enough to make a great game.

Who are you and why are you here?

Styloo they didn't email me. I assume so, It just takes time for me to update it. So the list isn't accurate in time or in order that I got it. In the end don't worrie just have fun with the contest

Dan the man no he's not going to do another contest like Duplex said. Darkfact and a few others are working on a new project that doesn't involve FPSC.

Please Keep your downloads up till the 7th of Dec. Or until the 5 finalists are chosen.

Mine did as well!

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=118859&b=28&p=0

Twas an error that didn't let me build the third level. Also, FPSC refused to let me compile the game with Full light mapping on. Hmmmmm.

I hope I didn't miss anything here, dunno, but either way, on the first page it says

Quote: "The top 10 entries will be finalists and will be announced on 7/DEC/07. "

Hmmm. That's funny. There's only 9 contestants...

Maybe I missed something.

thats a quote on page 20. He didn't have time to update the first post.So the amount changed do to the number of people that entered the contest.

That's a wrap. I've finished judging these puppies.

@Woolfman, are you going to tell us who it is? If not, I'm gonna be worried sick who's it is, since mine was barely nowhere near completion...

If you don't want to tell all the rest of us, why not send them a private email?

Results

These are the 5 finalists in no particular order:

Lost Treasures
EraBlaze MIA
The Mystery of Actroz
Gone
Letters Kingdom

Thanks to those who entered. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be announced Friday, 7 Dec 2007.

The prizes will be awarded no later than 31 December 07 (except for FPSCX10 which is up to TGC). I already have the copies and licenses of ButterCutter, I will have to coordinate with Butter Fingers to get your copy of LyteFX.

I will also have to coordinate with TGC to get your copies/licenses of FPSCX10. The video card will be purchased for the winner once the brand/model has been agreed upon.

At least,
I understood one thing :
A french has nothing to do on a forum English, with English people, in English Contest, with an English software.

I'll just unsticky it, so people can still reply if the wish (as long as it stays civil). When you make the winner's thread I'll sticky it for a time.

@Styloo; that's rather poor sportsmanship.

Just to let everyone know; I'll be evaluating all entries that have a download link, whether you won or not, for the BOTB. Of course, I'll have to get to a high-speed location.

Once I've let those few know they've been added; I'll give the list to Rich, as it's pretty hard to get ahold of him these days. So it's best I send the list as a whole, rather than in parts.

Once again, congratulations to those who made it into the top 5; I look forward to seeing the winner's list.

Once more, congratulations! I'm looking forward to playing some of these...

Well done everyone, and thanks to DarkFact and the judges for such a great competition
