I don't have a price set in stone. Email me and we can talk about it.

Dar13's right, you ARE allowed to sell your game if you're okay with having the splashscreen and the watermark.

Another bug in the mod, it completely messes up enemies blood don't know why and it displays bullet holes uncorrectly too

see the blood splashes and bulletholes before and after using the mod

It's Lee's source, it reduces it to a 1-bit alpha...

Errant AI made his own blood splash to use with Mods that uses a 1-bit Alpha and it looked pretty good. Perhaps you can contact him about using it.

As far as I'm aware, that is present in all Mods.

It's going to be my pet. But wouldn't you know it, it needs people other than me to go look at it to make it grow.
(I made a program to auto-visit the page like every 5-10 seconds, but it's not helping much, if at all, lol)

it only counts visits from the same computer (same IP) once a day, so if u even open the page a million times from the same computer or any other computer on the same LAN it sill counts as 1

I searched the forum for Errant AI and found nthn useful, plus that won't solve the bullet holes problem

can I remove the blood completely or change it with a 1-bit alpha?
or if I bought the MOD can u change this property?

I know, which was the next thing I was gonna do... have it change my IP addy before it revisits. I mean, the set up I have over here has about 100 unused IPs. But, before Ic ould get that working, I looked at the clock, realised it was 5am and went to bed.

Quote: "or if I bought the MOD can u change this property?"

I would have to find out where the source of the problem is first.

Quote: "Shameful, I suppose that's a cheaters way lol..."

No, I only find it shameful to use an auto-program if someone ELSE made it, but if you are fully capable of producing the program yourself, then I don't see anything wrong with it. I mean, that's your gift, you should use it.

!!! RELEASE !!!

Okay, finally... I'm calling this the official release of Ply's Mod V1.07

Download is attached. The only difference between Beta 3 and this one is:

I've "fixed" the white-outlined blood, flak-mark, and bulletholes.
Alpha over-lap still occurs, so shooting the same spot continuously will still make it turn bright colors, but with some recoil, that won't occur very often (if at all).
("Fixed" is in quotation marks because, really, there was nothing wrong with the code. It just compressed the images more than I would have appreciated from Lee, so I changed that...)

Anywho, here's the download. Any comments/concerns should be posted here. (First post will beupdated with the new download shortly)

If you find any bugs or it crashes, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF WHOEVER YOU WORSHIP TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!

I'm going to need a bit more to go off of here, Bibo.

What does your level look like? Does this occur in a simple map consisting of one room? Is your level big? Does it happen with lightmapping enabled? What about disabled? If it happens with both, does it happen with static entities in the level? Dynamic entities?

Be as detailed as you can, please. It helps me to help you better.

- Just the simple default ground and a player start (or even without it)
- No entities at all
- Happens even when there's no lightmapping and no shader effects
- Happens with lightmapping too
- Happins with or without dynamic lighting
- The test game screen says ([200] Loading Map Data) when the error shows
- After the message appears another one pops with the Debug Info 00 stuff
- Just tried also happens when I test the game with absolutly nthn in it, a completely empty project
- Happens with or without static or dynamic entities

Alright, thank you, Bibo.

I'll be emailing you shortly about this. Don't wanna over-populate the thread with debugging fun.

Btw, is this happening with anyone else?

So the blood's working alright for you guys?

I made it use a "quality" texture for them instead of a "compressed" texture like what Lee had. But if anyone's wondering, the file to alter for anything is:
Files\gamecore\bulletholes\prebulletholes.dds
(It used to be using the "bulletholes.tga", and if you put a black background behind that image in Paint.NET or something, you'll see very clearly why there was a white outline to everything )

Right now, Bibo has offered to host the site on his server for me and design it himself.

Though, if you want to make a site of your own, perhaps some ideas of yours could be put into the final site.

@meteorite:

Yup, I took a look at it.

The layout is simplistic but it does give me a good idea of some pages that could be needed.

@acrox999:

In order to help you, I would need to know exactly what went wrong.
