Same for me. It shows in order history, but says I have 0 points when I login to the Game Creator Store App.

I received my points, thanks a lot. Even if I don't' make it past the first stage, just entering this competition was beneficial enough

Thanks

Ok, did you guys actually sign up for a TGC Store account? Did you login with your e-mail address and password for your TGC Profile, and accept all the terms and conditions. Remember, when you do, you need to scroll the page down, and check all the boxes before submitting.

@Daniel TGC
Yes, I did all that.

It definitely logs in fine, and the number of store points goes green as though it's got the value from the server.

OK, you should all have your points registered on the TGC Store now.

@FIGHTFX

Read the licence files that come with the models. Licences may vary from model to model depending on the authors wishes.

I'm sorry FIGHTFX, but at the end of the day, if you're using 3rd party media sources, it's essential that you understand the licence agreements. You're not an end user any more, you're a developer

FIGHTEX, for licencing and other customer service issues please send in a support mail. When I post on here, it's typically after I've shut down the support systems. Thanks.

Yes the entries are being judged alphabetically. But really, judge is too strong a word at this point. What I'm really doing is running through the games, and filtering out, the games from the junk entries. One or two people have sent in programs that are little more than running around pointlessly.

I can't go by the simple process of, if it looks like I can't do anything, then dump it. Because I may be misunderstanding how the game works. There's one or two strange entries that I've played a few times, but don't really understand the point and goals of. There may simply be none, but I'd hate to rush through them all, and remove someone's game just because I didn't put any effort in.

Once I've sorted out the non, working games from the working games. I'll go through the remaining entries, and sort out the top ten entries.

I feel disgustingly ignored. The progress in sorting out the points is still 29/30. Has anybody noticed? I quote myself:

The easiest way to get the top ten might be just to keep removing the worst entry each time. That way there is no danger of accidentally missing one, if you just try to find 10 straight off.

Hello everyone, I'll be entering my game soon, just have to finish the live action cut scenes. It's called "Dark castle 2 : Return of the Dark Prince of Chrobing Tock ". It's a free roaming, 3d - first person perspective adventure game, based upon the original P.C game.

Mr Josua:

I'm very sorry to tell you this, but the deadline is already over... You can't enter a game anymore.

It's possible, I guess it's really up to Daniel. Acording to the list, he's testing mine at the moment. I hope he is a "okay" fps player and doesn't find it too hard.

Ok, sorry for the extended wait guys. But the entry's have all been checked, varified and entered offically.

So what does this mean?

Starting next monday, I will announce 2 games every day that will make it into stage 3 of the judging. The stage 3 enties will then receive addional TGC Store points. I will announce them in this thread, and in the judging progress thread.

Please note, that the order of which the games appear, is no indication of what the final winners will be.

I'm pleased to announce the first two games making it into the next stage of the competition.

Labyrinth - by jeffhuys
Mechaniser - by Diggsey

Congratulations guys.

A little about these two entries.

Labyrinth

Labyrinth is a compelling ball and maze puzzle game with a twist. Using special squares on the map, you can change your rolling ball to stone or paper martial types. Use stone to roll large objects out of the way. Paper allows you to race over gaps, shoot up using fans, defying gravity each time. The well designed levels are both challenging and thought provoking. Combined with great looking graphics. The game is a pleasure to play.

Mechaniser

Mechaniser is a first rate physics puzzle game. Using an innovative interface, and game play design, you must roll the green flashing bowling ball into the green safe zone. Using pipe style scaffolding, wedges, and other tools. You can pin your structures together, press start, and watch your creations roll the ball into the intended target. With great game play, and puzzles that challenge. This game is a welcome addition to the competition, and one I'll likely be playing even after the competition is over.
