Gewehr 43 (HUD model, and a different VWEAP, HUD is ironsight ready)
M1A1 Carbine (just one model, ironsight ready)
M16A4 (One model, scoped)
I'm also finishing up plenty of basic entities for use as cover. Sandbags and broken walls mostly.
PS: (bootlicker) what format would you like the models in? textures are in .tga"

sweeeet.

urmm, any format will do. its ideal if the textures are .dds but the model doesnt really matter as it goes through like 3 different formats through my rigging process anyways. also, please state what anims you want the guns rigged to.

Ill be waiting

Thanks,

Ben

I will be sending retextures of the Gewehr and M1 Carbine soon, with the same UV so shaders and UV will still apply.

Cosmic: Could you write down (in the first post possibly) a list of all the entities you've received so far?

I'm going to do a bedroll.

EDIT: That was fast.

TGPEG: Your models, or all of them? There are well over 100 total!!

Here's the StormTrooper...

Ok Guys, I'm going to set the completion date for the end of next week. So, please get all your contributions finished up, and sent in, by the middle of next week, so I can get the installation directories done.

If possible, I'd like to release this by next weekend. Thanks!

I've got the beginnings of a Barrett M82 .50 CAL going.

Gun makers... what's the best way to get the detail right on the z-axis? It looks quite good in profile but a bit boxy on the other axis. I can find reference shots in profile but there aren't really any for the other direction. Is it just a case of modelling by eye?

My best tip is to get 3 reference pictures , one from each side, then model them all at once. Don't finish modelling on the x-y before you start with z

Chamfer,Bevel,Smooth

Use angled pics to get it right, and of course the front/back reference if possible.

Right I did some chamfering and beveling. I can't find a front/back reference anywhere, although

Helped with the bits around the handle. It's still not perfect though.

I haven't modelled the back because it will obviously be out of the player's field of view. Does anyone feel like rigging

although, you will need to model this part anyways for a pickup entity

when its finished though, feel free to send it over with the animations you want it rigged to.

I might take you up on that. I've looked at the Commando from the Modern Day weapons that come with FPSC and I think I can base the animations off of that.

Might also be time to bite the bullet and buy Model Pack 53 so I can see how those new weapons work.

I am nearly finished with the China Lake, all I have to do is make the VWEAP for the enemy and the weapon and ammo pick-ups.

Oh yeah there is also a video of my work...

im 95% sure that a format is inevitable for my hardrive. Dale, im sending everything i have done so far over to you.

if i do format, which is pretty likely i will not be installed FPSC again or any of the programs, i dont use it that much now and it frains my time as it is. So, basically please do not send me anything else to rig.

Oh no! I was hoping you could rig my Barrett M82. I've managed to rig the gun to the hand I want it with, but for some reason whenever I change the position of any of the joints or anything assigned to them, the entire animation goes haywire.

Well does that mean you do not want my China Lake to give the same features as the other weapons as mentioned earlier in the thread. After all the only difference I seem to be seeing is just the hand textures.

Cosmic, I simply can't finish my media by next weekend. If I had one more week I could, but school is getting in the way. If possible could you extend the deadline?

OK, Seeing as you have so much stuff, I can go another week. No problem.

While going through all the media, There was quite a bit that is not shader ready, so I'll go ahead and take the extra week to do the normals and spec maps for everything.

Notice: The pack release date is now set for the 20th of May, so if there are a few more items you would like to take the time to get finished up, or create, now is your chance. Thanks!

Nice model starmind 001.

They may not look like much technology wise, but there were many wet nights when we were proud to be under the green canvas.

Thanks again Brian.

These don't really go that great with this theme, as they are more geared for Horror, But I couldn't help myself.

I made these to be used with Henry's new shooting stalls.
