porn links are a problem why?
Anyway on photobucket you get your own login account instead so you don't have to remember all those links

ok, i take that back, itll be more like "70% Pirates of Port Royale" .
So will anyone else vote, lol? I dont think anyone looks at this thread besides the team and a mod every once and a while to check on it ...
I have a sudden urge to work on "Pirates of Port Royale" so ill probably be working on it for like 3-4 hours in a row

k. About the blue lines...i was trying to make it stand out more by outlining it, ill see how it looks without them though .

k, heres to compare. One is the last "Port Royale" without blue lining, one with.

guess you were right Lukas, i wasnt expecting it to look good without it, but it looks better . I guess ill vote on my favorites. As you can see i like the metals cause i did them so much. My favorites are the last "Port Royale" and the fourth "Port Royale" from the bottom (fading into dark blue). Vote count so far:
2 votes-last Port Royale
2 votes-first Port Royale
1 vote-7th Port Royale

maybe we should do this as a process of elimination, like pick three that you absolutely hate...
Absolutely hate:
1st, 4th, and 7th "Pirates"

sorry for the lack of updates . Ive got myself involved in an awesome Harry Potter MUD (Multi-User Dimension, basicly a text based MMORPG). (http://lumos.mugglenet.com/index.php(see FAQ for details)). Im part of the writing team, writing the newspapers and books for the game. Its gonna be the freest game ive ever seen, lol, its gonna be awesome, but anyways. Time to get organized:
Nitrixik Studios-MIA(Missing In Action)
Lukas W.-Implementing talk system? Night/day cycles.
Me-Menu font stuff, stuff in CS4, not much lately.
Seppuku Geijutsu-?
Heckno-Busy?
Looks like its just Lukas and I for now. I know Seppuku's around here, just dont know if hes had time to work on models, and i havent heard from Nitrixik Studios in about 3 weeks. He didnt respond to email.

This weekend Seppuku was away according to what he posted on a project we're both working on called Rush.

Suddenly I want to help on this project again, but I just don't know of any way I can help.

thatd be great!! Seeing as were only really operating at 50% so to speak . There are actually quite a few of non-coding jobs.
1) Design Quests
2) Design Menu's (I already kinda have an idea for the main menu though, but all other things, such as "extras", "new game", "load game", "credits" and "options"
3) Design Islands
4) If you wanted to code theres a list of about 8 things that you could choose from .
5) Design buildings (As long as you stay true to the style )
6) Come up with characters (Draw and/or describe, come up with personalities, jobs, history, responses to questions, etc.)
7) Draw floorplans of buildings
8) Textures

So those are the things that you could do, if you want. Wed love to have you back!!

@Gil, Here I am, soz for no updates, I am really Busy with exams, and as Anime said, I'm working on Rush, and Rush is my first Priority I'm afraid, I think I said something on the Team Request post for this.
My time is organised like this

Work on Rush
Have a life ( )
Family time (Generally a movie/documentry on most nights of the week)
Revision/Exams (Will be free in a couple of weeks)
Checking messages on 3D world Mag, SCT, TGC and CGT (Thats a lotta forums lol)
Job (Only saturday evenings until after exams)
Band (Haven't done this in weeks, because of exams etc. but mostly Sundays)
Eating and Sleeping (The obvious one)
Anything else that crops up (like my unexpected weekend off from home)
And finally teaching myself 3D modelling (I maybe able to fit in some Pirates models, at the moment, my learning is making an underwater scene, trying out box modelling, lathing, Caustics and other crap)

Pretty packed eh? Hence no update on Ronin either

at the moment i am working on the puzzle compo entry, and im trying to finish off the GameDev shooter competition entry (about 70% complete.. i just need to finish the level). and about 25% complete on the puzzle entry.

after that i will continue on the day/night cycle - add a sun with lense flares.. then ill implement the talk system as well as the day/night cycle.

yeah, everyone can take some time off. Reasons:
1) For a few of you, its exam time
2) Im really involved in an HP MUD (http://lumos.mugglenet.com/index.php) on the writing services team. (Its gonna be awesome )
3) Puzzle compo
4) We are really at a finishing part of our first projects (Inventory, talk system, me-just random things (ie: island implemention, buildings incorporations, etc.)

Hey soz guys, I haven't posted for a while, I guess you missed me (I sincerely doubt it) well I haven't still got you anything, I've been working on exams (2 left woot) and been teaching myself my 3D modelling. And is looking kick ass!!! So...once I've helped with Rush more and completed my Challenge entry for a 3D forum then I can put a lot more effort in, I'll as much as I can between now and then.

@ Gil, if you got anything more to add to the original list of objects to make, don't hesitate to ask. I think I'll get a cannon and a horse done for you next and maybe a barrel too

o yeah, i have that already, thanks though . I think the ship combat will be more team oriented, and closeup in "Pirates of Port Royale", such as if you are a cannoneer, you will have to load gunpowder, a cannonball, then light the fuse to fire, while others are firing other cannons and manuvering the ship.
