Do you have U58? Or maybe I gave you a messed up version...I'll check when I get home. Also, in the first function, change:

strt_inventory

end_inventory

to:

strt_Inventory

end_Inventory

O, ya, when you compile what I sent you, that's just the plain code of functions and globals and such, it's not an actual example.

dude! i feel so stupid i didnt even look through the code just tried to run it.. well I guess i learned something from that

edit:
allright, i think i got it to work.
but i dont have any of these files

so i cant run it, and therefore im not sure about wheter it works or not..

edit:
humm.. it is boring sittin here when none of the other on the team is online. so i was just wondering what time you are online?

my timezone is: GMT +1 (GMT = London, England)
im online:
16:00 - 22:00 GMT+1 (tuesdays-fridays)
10:00 - 00:00 GMT+1 (Saturdays)
12:00 - 22:00 GMT+1 (Sundays)

note that time im available might vary from day to day

edit:
one more thing
what if me and nitrixik had the same programming positions.
so if there is something i cant do with the AI, nitrixik do it and visa versa. so both would have to position of 'programmer', and not 'ai programmer' and 'general programmer'?? it was just a suggestion.
if its okay with you guys.

Previously (before I got my head together) it checked for any item in the inventory that the mouse was over. But now, I have it do the distance check also, and it returns the object number if it's over a correct object, else it returns 0. I got rid of the distance checks, and seriouly edited the onmouseclick function, now I might be able to get it to work, but I'm not sure. I'll send you the edited code in a couple hours.

edit: those models were sent with the first email (that was crapped up)

Thats what I've got so far (the floor is there as an effect not as a model) The shaders won't load in DB, so I will program them in DB, so I will email the models and shaders when I can.

Oh and I'm not sure about the wood bump mapping, is it effective or does it make it look to rough?

@Seppuku: cool, looking good . I like the glass and the cannonballs especially. One comment, no offense, but the cannon is too short. If you could i would look at how they look in the movie

hey Gil, the short cannons are from that time era, both the long barrel and short were common.....

any chance of getting some source code to play around with? if so email it to me - cjkauf00@earthlink.net...

In the mean time I will continue with some characters, a lot tougher than I had orginally expected....

you mean crossed, lol, JK.....

I just whipped up the eye texture so that I could get a better feel for placement, not nearly finished.....I am finding out the hard way that building people is much harder than whipping out guns and swords

Once I get this guy down I think that I can tweak him to represent other peeps in the game....

Its an ok head model, needs better texturing, good first attempt tho, try and base the model around an image, I can't really criticise your head because i fail at every attemp at head modelling lol

@Gil thanks, I'll do both for ya

[EDIT] What was I thinking? This is what I meant:

I wirte in print cuz I can't write in cursive. But either way, my handwriting suks. Also, I can't draw (fortunatly, I drew a pretty good pic for a sniper gun for my FPS)
[/EDIT]

@Heckno:

I meant the I don't know, the outside part of the eye. Not the eyeball, but the skin surronding it. It looks a little too square with straight lines everywhere.

WEll, currently my friend is providing me with a bunch of FTP space. I'd like to know if you would like to use it, because I'm thinking about doing a MMOSRPG (massive multiplayer online squad-based role playing game), or MMOSFTRTSRPGS (everything) that would use the webspace.

that looks much better, and now for the textures lol then it'll be perfect, I have Face animater with my TrueSpace 5 package, if you like I could animate the face movements and expressions, but for face animator to work it will need to be apart from a body, the neck will still need to be attached, but I will need scripts to know everything he says

Okay, I'm just gonna unload. For some reason, that seems the only break for me.

Thankfully, this is the weekend. Here, we have shorter classes because in 15 minutes, bmx bikers are gonna perform. I've been playing guild wars for the past days, and i'm getting the actual game soon.

This weekend, i'll work on my fps along with the inventory. There are still some places where i'm stuck. i'll send it out tomorow (lukas, i'll include media for you to work with)

I'm in a guild (my own) but what stinks is that me and my bro are both in it, i started, but he started playing the real guildwars first, so he was declared leader (this was after the character swipe after the last beta even) but i have a really good bow: ithas bow. if i get a marksmanship of 10, it does 13-25 dmg.
